Ann Arbor Senior Portraits & Graduation Photos

Senior pictures and graduation photos shot where your story lives. A personal session built around you — real locations across Ann Arbor and Southeast Michigan, creative lighting, no time limits, no packages. Portraits of the authentic you.

$435 – $735 with a social-media follow

That's the full range — your session plus digital images. Most people take everything: buying five digital images gets you the whole gallery, every frame from the shoot, at the top of the range. And if all you need is one image, buy one — that's the low end. Unlimited time, multiple locations, no packages; how many digitals you keep sets where you land. I'll quote the exact figure before anything is booked.

  1. Reach out — Share your name and a way to reach you. I get back to you within 24 hours.
  2. Plan — A short conversation for me to get to know you, talk about locations, and compare dates on our calendars.
  3. Shoot — Dates and times, 24/7 — literally. If the only window you have is 11pm on a Tuesday, that's when we shoot. You set the details and how long we're going to shoot. Most plan between 2–4 hours and 2–3 locations.
  4. Receive — Your images arrive in a private, secure online gallery — in days, not weeks, often within 48 hours. Purchases and downloads available immediately.

Questions worth asking any photographer you're considering. Including me.

  1. Can you see entire galleries from a photographer to understand exactly what you're getting?
  2. Do the galleries show a variety of settings and wardrobes, or are they very similar?
  3. Would all the images in the gallery make you stop a scroll, or does the gallery include a lot of "discard" images that are just average?
  4. How long will they take to get your proofs to you?
  5. Will they shoot on the days and at the times you need, or will you have to change your schedule?
  6. Will they come to you, or do you go to them — and how far will they travel?
  7. Do they use supplemental lighting like flash or bounce cards? If they do not, you could probably take the same photo with your phone.

The Experience

Not Your Average Senior Session

01

No Time Limits

Sessions run until the work is done — not until the clock runs out. Multiple locations and wardrobe changes are the norm, not an upgrade. It's your time too: you set the timing and how long we go, and what you put in is what you get out.

02

Creative Lighting

Off-camera flash, shaped natural light, and professional technique create portraits with real depth and dimension — not flat on-camera snapshots. Phones are remarkably good now. What a phone can't do is put light where there wasn't any.

03

Real You

No catalog poses, no white backdrops. We photograph where your story actually lives — campus, athletic facilities, outdoor locations, anywhere it means something to you.

Who These Senior Pictures Are For

High School Seniors & Parents

This is a milestone worth doing right. The sitting fee covers unlimited time and locations with no package pressure. Most people take everything — buying five digital images gets you the whole gallery, every frame from the session. And if all you need is one image for the yearbook or a LinkedIn profile, buy one. The choice is about what you need, not a package you have to fit into. Parents: you get full-resolution files for announcements, frames, and gifts. Seniors: you pick where. A bowling alley, a river, a weight room, a garden full of flowers — the session is built around what your life actually looks like, not a backdrop everyone gets.

College Graduates

You planned the session, you're making the call. These portraits work for LinkedIn headshots, professional portfolios, family keepsakes, or simply marking the moment before the next chapter starts. Extended time means we can get the dramatic campus shot and the relaxed casual portrait in the same session.

The Approach

How We Work Together

Great senior portraits and graduation photos aren't directed — they're built. We start with a conversation about your story, your locations, and what you want these images to say. Then we go shoot it. The result is portraits of the authentic you, not a performance of yourself in front of someone else's backdrop.

You Bring the Story

Before we shoot, we talk through your ideas — the places that mean something to you, your style, the version of yourself you want captured. No brief to fill out, just a conversation. If you're still figuring it out, that's what the conversation is for.

I Bring the Craft

Creative lighting, composition, and knowing how to read a genuine moment. My job is to create the conditions where the real you comes through — off-camera flash, real locations, no time limit pressing us forward. Your story, expertly captured.

Camera Shy? That's Normal

Most people are. The no-time-limit format is intentional — there's room to ease in, feel a little awkward, and find your footing. High school senior or college grad, the process is the same: we move at your pace until the pictures are right.

The Process

What to Expect

Step 1

Reach Out

Your name and one way to reach you, email or phone — whichever you prefer. I get back to you within 24 hours.

Step 2

Plan Your Session

A short conversation for me to get to know you, talk about locations, and compare dates on our calendars.

Step 3

The Shoot

Dates and times, 24/7 — literally. If the only window you have is 11pm on a Tuesday, that's when we shoot. Most plan between 2–4 hours and 2–3 locations. We go until the work is done, not until a clock runs out — which is what makes multiple locations and wardrobe changes normal rather than an upgrade.

Step 4

Receive Your Images

Your edited images arrive at full resolution in a private, secure online gallery — in days, not weeks, often within 48 hours. Purchases and downloads available immediately. Prints optional, in museum-quality metal, acrylic, canvas and fine art paper.
